Terms of Service

§ 1 Subject Matter

ideployed UG (haftungsbeschränkt) provides a managed hosting platform for JTL-Shop installations as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). The services are directed exclusively at businesses within the meaning of § 14 BGB (German Civil Code). Consumer contracts are excluded.

By using our service, you agree to these Terms.

§ 2 Scope of Services

We provide:

  • Provisioning of a managed JTL-Shop instance
  • Infrastructure management (updates, backups, monitoring)
  • Support via email

§ 3 Account Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep credentials secure
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

§ 4 Acceptable Use

You may NOT use the platform for:

  • Illegal activities
  • Running malware, crypto mining, or abusing infrastructure
  • Attempting to breach or disrupt other tenants
  • Using excessive resources beyond your plan limits

§ 5 Availability

We target 99.5% monthly availability (excluding scheduled maintenance windows). Planned maintenance will be announced at least 24 hours in advance.

§ 6 Isolated Shop Environments

  • Each customer runs in isolated environments
  • Resource usage is limited per plan
  • We may throttle or suspend abusive workloads

§ 7 Payments & Plans

  • Plans define resource limits (CPU, memory, storage)
  • Billing handled via third-party providers
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension

§ 8 Data Responsibility

  • You own your application data
  • You are responsible for backups unless explicitly included in your plan
  • We are not liable for data loss

§ 9 Data Protection & Order Processing

Where iDeployed processes personal data of the customer in the course of service delivery, this is done as a data processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) forms part of the contract and is available at the following link:

§ 10 Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts if:

  • Terms are violated
  • Abuse is detected
  • Payment fails

Users may delete their account at any time.

§ 11 Limitation of Liability

The liability of iDeployed is limited to wilful intent and gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law. Liability for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss is excluded.

§ 12 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. The courts of Leipzig have exclusive jurisdiction.

§ 13 Changes

We may update these Terms at any time.
